My husband Sean and I (and our dog, Lucky Lou) decided to make a permanent move from Canada to Mexico and left Victoria BC, lock, stock and, barrel on April 1st, 2008. We arrived in the Yucatan on April 14th and moved in to our house in Chelem on May 14th. We are very happy to have been able to retire at our early ages! We love Mexico and have made many friends since arriving. The Mexican people have been utterly gracious and we are thoroughly enjoying life here!
