Title: Anyone Flying to Florida?

Article: Puppy Needs a Ride to Florida!   A couple who came to visit here, and brought a 4 month old puppy to AFAD, has now decided that they really want that puppy to come live with them. They live in Orlando, and will drive to Miami or wherever to meet someone who could bring the puppy with them from Merida to Florida. They will pay for the expense of bringing the puppy (crate, etc.).   Does anyone know anyone who might be willing to help by bringing the puppy with them on a flight? The puppy is tiny and Working Gringa tells me that she is pretty sure it can be carried on the plane in a carrier. If not, then it can ride in the luggage compartment and just needs to be associated with someone on the plane.   I'm not sure about the temperature requirements. If the puppy can ride inside the plane, it will be ok but, if not, then this might not be the best time of year for this... but we can try.    If anyone can give this puppy a lift to Florida (or knows someone who is headed that way - even by land), just leave a comment and I will get in touch with you.   My apologies for posting this in the articles section, but I didn't see a place to put it in the forums and the request needed to get out to everyone as soon as possible.   Thanks   Khaki
