I had this brilliant idea for an article.I was going to do a photo essay of grocery shopping in MegaBalcones. I was asked by the security guard not to take any photos. I did a few of the bakery and some other bits. I am going to take my camera to a few other grocery stores and see if I can piece together a photo montage of an Merida grocery experience.

Well, I don't want to be kicked out of the grocery store that I actually shop in, so I may have to hit some other ones. Or maybe a supermarket montage? This article make take a little more work than I originally thought. LOL, have to plead inexperience.

don't know what you mean by advice on how to shop in the Mercado? Do
you mean how to bargain or how to pick out ripe fruit? I hardly ever
shop in the Mercado Galvez because the selection is so limited and most
of the fruits and vegetables come from the Centro de Abastos not from
local farmers.
If you want to read about bargaining, I wrote
thisSometimes you have to cry a little. 
I was hoping to do a photo essay but if there really is no interest in it, I will think of something else.

Another idea I would probably better than pictures of supermarkets is pictures from the mercados along with advice of how to best shop in them.
