Right now no time for hobbies -- working to make $$ to move full-time to Mexico :D
Movies
Things that make me laugh: The Big Lebowski, Snatch, Tommy Boy, Dumb & Dumber, Robin Hood (with Errol Flynn, that is!), and lots more...
Music
Pretty much all music, according to the mood I'm in at the time
Books
Authors who have guided and inspired me: Arnold Patent, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Oscar Wilde, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Lewis Carroll, to name just a few.
To be mindful of the connection between every single thing on this beautiful planet; living in the present moment and taking care of my own backyard first; being always grateful for the abundance that is provided to everyone and everything existing in our interconnectedness; and trying not to sweat the small stuff!

About me
I am currently living in the rugged wilds of rural British Columbia where we farm organically with heavy horses. I spent a lot of time trekking around Mexico on buses and walking, mostly in Jalisco and Nayarit states, about 20 years ago and made a vow that I would return there to live in 15 years.
We're a little behind schedule, but this spring we are putting part of the ranch up for sale and then driving down to the Yucatan with 2 big dogs and a couple of cats and will let the Universe take us wherever we're supposed to be!
I can appreciate the cold winter thing as we have just moved down from Calgary.
I see youa re driving down with your dogs. We brought ours down in the minivan and had n o problems, other than finding hotels in Meico which took dogs. I used Merida Insider for information on that but unfortunately that is not available any more. Can't remember where we stayed or I would tell you. I know there was a really good one on the way into Tuxpan.
We have had no problems with him down here, though he does try to eat things on the beach and has rolled in dead fish a couple of times, which makes for an immediate bath.
Is this your permanent arrival or do you have to go back. Hope to meet you when you are here
