My import permit (you know the one on your windshield) is about to expire.
Has anyone had the experience to renew it? I have a FM3 so would like to have it come due at the same time. Can all this be done in Progresso? and where? Help. |

So long as you keep your FM3 current you do not have to renew the windshield permit. You need to surrender the permit if your vehicle leaves the country. remember no Mexican National is allowed to drive the car unless you are in it.

Don't worry..... Just so long as you have a current FM3 that would suffice. If you have any doubt you would have to drive to the border and surrender the old sticker and pay for a new one. Just like you are probably driving on expired plates.

Yes you're right, thanks for the help I found the web site explaining it all to me, I need to advise them when I renew my FM3 or if I have a change of address.
