Hello,
We're looking to move up to Progreso from Merida in Jan or Feb.We're looking for a low cost apt, which can be small, to rent. We willbe long term renters. We're quiet, responsible and clean (I'm sureeveryone says that! :) ) We would consider anything within a 10 minute drive to Progreso as well. We're hoping to spend $200 US or so. I know, I know, obviously thatlimits us, but I know they're available up there. Just thought some ofyou folks might know locals that have rentals or hear of things aroundtown. Thanks for any help! We appreciate it. |

The only place I have heard of is owned by the people that also own "El Paso" import store in Progreso. Might be worth a visit to the store and ask.
El Paso is on calle 29 between 78 and 80 and on the south side of the street. |

Check out the house on the corner of C. 25 y C. 46 - he has a hand lettered for rent sign. He rents small rooms/suites. You get a hammock, a table and chairs, a kitchen (no fridge) and bath. There is a terrace that wraps around two sides of the house, so somewhere to sit outdoors.

this is the cheapest one I could find 1 block from the beach in Progreso. Maybe the price is negotiable? Good Luck!
