Just saw you are online...I'm on line as well!  I read your post about looking for a house.  Have you been dealing with a realitor?  It may help.  We have found two good ones...Eric from Mexintel and John from Bueno Vista.  May not have the spellings correct.  I think that if you try to buy from a home owner they will try and take advantage of the housing boom and if your spanish isn't good, that adds to the problem.

Hello...I just read that you are taking the bus from Cancun to Merida.  We are planning the same thing and have been trying to get information on the web.  At this point I know we can catch a bus from the airport to the bus station in Cancun.  Were you able to purchase tickets on line and do you have a schedule for the busses?  Do you have any information that could help?  Good luck
