Has anyone used the CBX border crossing from Tijuana to San Diego?
It seems to be the best and cheapest solution to fly into the US.
You fly to Tijuana, cross the CBX border to the US and in the terminal rent a car or bus to the San Diego airport and fly to your destination.
Looking at prices, it is about half with this solution.

We used the CBX coming back from Puerto Vallarta.  It was fast and efficient, much shorter wait time than going thru either the Otay Mesa or San Ysidro border crossings.  You do pay for the convenience, I think it was about $16 or $18 per person where as there is no fee using the standard border crossings.

Can someone explain exactly what CBX is and how to use it?  And is it at all border crossings?

Makes flying to the US West coat cheaper by using Mexican national airlines to Tijuana and then from San Diego to any other US airports.

True. On our last trip part of it was with Interjet and the plane was far more comfortable than American Airlines aircraft.
