Yolisto has been coming up for the last three days. Maybe it will continue? Fingers crossed.

I keep checking it on occasion, too, Dave. It was certainly a fun and useful tool all those years ago!

I too have enjoyed Yolisto over the years.  Before we bought here (Chuburna) I used it as a valuable tool to get to know the area.  Since I don't use Facebook I would enjoy Yolisto being used more and want it to survive.

Yes good to see Yolisto up again. Now we need some old members to join up again, like Wazoo and Jardinero

I'm back and happy to see Yolisto resurrected. Did someone buy it!

So glad to see the site back up now.  In the relatively brief time it has been back, I've gone through some old posts (including one very long and very entertaining (heated) thread from years back that I had totally missed out on  :o ), enjoyed a few other things, reached out for a bit of extra information from another user, and found a service provider to meet a need I have right now and have him scheduled to come to our house in a couple of weeks.  Yes, I'm glad Yolisto is back!

Yes, for three consecutive days now, I've been able to access the site.  That's a huge improvement!

I much prefer a discussion board like this for the very reason rcgntulsa2 mentioned:   able to go back in time and find information.  I joined a Facebook group that's quite active, but it's practically impossible to scroll back a week, much less several years, to find information that I know I read there.

Doesn't look like the site has been purchased.  According to whois, it's still registered to Strategic Holdings, which also owns (or at least used to own) Yucatan Living and Yucatan Expatriate Services.   Those three moved under the same umbrella back in 2011:

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a sale were in the works, though.  As much as I enjoy the site and find it useful, Yolisto almost has to be a money-losing rathole for the current owners.   Giving stuff away for free generally isn't a sustainable business model.

There's not a lot of people who know it's back.

You know it's back, and I know it's back.  Quality, not quantity.   :D
