I can't believe i'm saying this... but
Parasites - in the yucatan
I've been ill for so long, and for seemingly many reasons - so three days ago an excellent lady friend of mine suggested I have parasites... Gross initially, the thought, makes me want to hurl a bit... then realizing I've been sick for what seems like eons, I realize it is now a blessing... I feel a bit like a strong warrior woman, ready and able to kill these stupid peons (parasites) feeding on my intestines. I am almost excited, the thought of health so close and within my grasp - three days to be exact. I'm made up of mainly english and german blood. Means I like tea, pastry and beer? I dunno, about the food and beverage preferences, but I was bread to be very clean and dignified? Well the though of parasites infesting my stomach, I know, rolls my dear sweet grandmother and patriarch of our family in her grave... Eating out often, and brushing my teeth with tap water - may have been the culprit; I may never know... Anyone with unexplainable symptoms, and lethargy that is not alcohol induced, should pm me. I might just have the cure you are looking for!!!
I'm a lover of Yolisto, for a few reasons. The first and most important reason, is our community spirit. The spirit that we extend to each other of acceptance, kindness and friendship...
We don't pick apart each others posts (mis-spells, mistakes, all are welcome here, you do not have to re-read posts or run a spell check, we don't sweat the small stuff).
Yolisto will stay strong, I am confident, because we are a strong group of really cool individuals!
I'm saying a welcome to everyone migrating here; and to tell you we are a kind folk, a welcoming folk, but a strong unit unto ourselves = might I say that that is what YoListo is all about?
And a side note, we were here before the misfortune of MI, and we will be here long after... That is what community is all about :)
Calliope my sisterfriend, jump in, you are so eloquent ;)
Hello:) I received a request to be someones boyfriend today, so I decided I should introduce myself ;)
I'm 35 and female - yes you heard me - I am a girl LOL I have a 5 year old son who is the light of my life. Our family is small and it is just the two of us, plus a very adorable miniature poodle named Midas who is not only blind but also toothless :) So yes, he is harmless, and therefore cannot even laughingly be passed off as my guard dog anymore... My house is for sale here in Saskatchewan Canada, and with the sale we are going to be travelling south, wayyy south, to Progreso/Merida area. I will be bringing an old small trailer with me, so if anyone has ideas of the safest way to park it while we rent and try to find the right real estate I will eagerly accept any and all advice. We spent the month of October at a rental house in Chixculub in 2006. Since then my heart stayed pining for life in the Yucatan. I love the life there, the people, the priorities, the weather. I truly love the culture. I am hoping my house sells in this saturated market (too many houses for sale here in Saskatoon right now). If anyone has any good vibes to send my way I would appreciate it. I truly do not want to spend another winter here. As it is I cannot afford to keep my house here and head south, so the logical step for me is to sell and begin the adventure of a lifetime. My son, Braden, is excited about returning to Mexico and so am I :) I can no longer live in a crazed north american society where even in Canada the average person is more concerned about getting the newest this, or the best that, and watching too much tv (i do myself) and not living a natural life. I want to break free of consumerism, and to do so my move may seem drastic to some, but extremely natural to me :) I enjoy a laid back warm weather life style and love to indulge in a cold cervesa or margarita and me and my son love to swim :) Braden will love to make some new friends when we arrive, so anyone who may want to make a play date - I am happy to do so! Lots of love and kindness to everyone on this site - so far I have only good things to say about it :) |
