REAL ENLIGHTENMENT

Too content to be ambitious,

I let the world take care of itself.

Ten days’ worth of food in my refrigerator;

A dipping pool full of well water.

Why chatter about delusion and enlightenment?

Listening to the night rain on my roof,

I lie comfortably in my hammock

All stretched out in Merida.
