Hey Paul, If you and Cynthia are making tamales please let us know if you plan to sell them. Also, I read a couple of weeks ago when you were replying to Karen at Casa Rosa about rentals in the area that you keep a list of people to rent from. Sophia and I have decided to start renting the cottage out. It is 2 bd/1bath with AC's in the bedrooms, 2 queen beds and new refrig, microwave, it also has a cooktop stove. We are going to rent it for 85.00 a night since it has 2 ac's and 450.00 a week. If you need to know anything thing else just let me know. Hopefully we will run into you before Christmas, if not. Have a safe and Merry Christmas and give my love to Cynthia. Sophia and I have been sick for 2 days, hoping it will pass soon but if you two go to Las Dunas in the next few days let us know and we will meet you if we are feeling better. Have no been there yet. XOXO Rhonda
When we return next year, will have to come by for your BBQ. Dry or wet? Sides? I use to travel a lot and have been to some of the best, so you will get a BBQ review from me. Forget those i've been to in Texas, but recall they were spicy - but I like chili peppers, so they were good!
Currently looking for rentals in Progreso, Dhixculub and Chelem for min. of one month and maybe longer in future.
Just purchased a GPS with Mexico maps loaded. Wife interested in making a driving trip to see the south and Mexico as much as possilbe. Both retired, and have too much time.
Loved the area when we visited aboard a CC ship and want to enjoy more.

Sorry we didn't get to meet up but I promise when we come in the spring we will get together and cook some Q together. It was only our second time to our house in Chicxulub and we really wanted to get to know OUR neighbor hood. We met a lot of expats that live there and had a great time. There is a new resturant there called Bambou Beach (Charlie from Buddy's) and it is really great. We had breakfast there every morning and had dinner there most nights ( except for Bull Pen and La Playea a couple of times). I have tried (knowing better) to eat a steak in many places in Mexico with not much success. This place has a fillea (can't spell) to die for. You need to go over there and see the Chef Emanual and talk. He buys his meet right there in Chicxulub and could turn you on to it. You guys should also go and plan on eating there one day or night they are just great and the place is really nice. Did you move my pictures? Thanks I'm still learning, Obiviusly.
