When my hair gets sucked into the other end of the blow dryer, smelling great BBQ and not being able to tell which house it's coming from.

About me

I've spent the past few years, driving all over Central America with three big dogs and very limited Spanish, mostly pointing and grunting.

Guatemala's (great place) been home base with the exception of living six months in Roatan (arm pit) Honduras. I'm now living in Merida (loving it.)

Hi Wylee! We haven't decided on the when yet. Hubby isn't as keen on all of this as I am, but he's willing to give it a try. Right now I'm finishing up a Bachelor's Degree and then heading to teacher's college in the fall (a little late in life, but what the hell). So, it won't be for the next few years anyway as I want to teach here for a bit before we make any decisions.

We haven't been to Merida but Merida/Progresso is next on our list of places to visit. I just blogged about this not too long ago. Check it out! http://web.me.com/littlebit1

It seems that the Progresso area satisfies just about everything on our "wish list" so we're quite interested in the area. I can't wait to get there and have a look around, but unfortunately it will have to wait until I'm done teacher's college. I have to leave my job in order to attend, which means we'll be down to one income during that time - not the best time to be spending a bunch of money on airfare and a rental house. Not going is driving me nuts, but you know... I'm trying to be responsible.

Hannity is the worst, one year for my birthday, my wife bought me one of his books as a joke.
